Bold & Blue
A Historic Jackrabbit Celebration
It’s finally here: a moment Jackrabbit Nation has been working toward for seven years!
Celebrate with Jackrabbit Nation as we reveal the final fundraising total of the largest comprehensive campaign in South Dakota history.
Bold & Blue started in 2017, with a goal to raise $500 million for Jackrabbits. Nearly 31,000 donors have already invested in SDSU by making a gift to the campaign, which will impact our university for generations to come. Bold & Blue is historic; the celebration will be, too.

Due to inclement weather, the concert has moved indoors. To keep guests comfortable and avoid overfilling The Oscar Larson Theatre where the Johnny Holm Band will perform, tickets will be distributed upon entry into the building.
Once tickets have been filled for the theatre, additional tickets will then be distributed for the other spaces within the building to view the livestream program, concert, and the reveal of the final amount raised through Bold & Blue. Open seating will also be available in the Roberts Reception Hall and outdoors.
Parking: Parking lots to the south, east, and west of The Oscar Larson Performing Arts Center will be available, along with the lot directly east of the Dana J. Dykhouse Stadium. Handicap parking will be available.
Road Closure: University Boulevard from the roundabout to the east entrance of The Oscar Larson Performing Arts Center will be closed starting at 5 pm on Thursday and will open after the event.
Food trucks, buffet lines, and beverage stations will open at 6:30 pm. Food trucks will be outdoors in the drop-off lane in front ot The Oscar. Vendors include Marc O's Festival Foods, Schroeder's Snak Shak, Thirst Quencherz, Backyard Grill, and Shorty's Hot Box. A pulled pork sandwich buffet will be available indoors, in addition to an allergy-friendly buffet.
A beer and wine bar will be available, along with options from Brookings' very own Wooden Legs Brewing Company.

About Bold & Blue
Bold & Blue reflects who we are as Jackrabbits and the impact SDSU has on our lives and on the world.
Bold, because SDSU is and will continue to be a hub of innovation, an engine of opportunity, a premier institution of higher learning—one that shapes the future of our community, state, and nation.
Blue, because generations of Jackrabbits call SDSU home, because of the unique spirit and loyalty of the yellow and blue family, and because of the countless life-long connections and life-changing decisions that have come from our beloved university. We are Bold & Blue. We are SDSU.
Bold & Blue. For SDSU.
By investing in our people, our places, our traditions, and our innovations, the Bold & Blue campaign will empower future generations of Jackrabbits to accomplish great things. With support from generous donors like you, we’ll power innovative approaches to help solve global challenges, sustain beloved Jackrabbit traditions, solidify SDSU as the regional destination for students and academic leaders, and prepare our graduates for life-changing careers.
