Give an impactful gift.
Scholarship gifts have a direct impact on students. They help students exceed their goals on campus and in life. Find out more about ways that you can start your own scholarship.
How can you get started?
Many of our donors start their own annual scholarship by committing to an annual gift of $2,100 – just $175 a month.
Another option is to make an annual gift of any dollar amount to the general scholarship fund that is used to provide impactful scholarships for students at SDSU.
Others choose to start an endowed scholarship to permanently preserve their legacy of giving to SDSU.
Name Your Scholarship
Some donors choose to name their scholarship in honor or memory of someone who impacted them—family members, friends and even SDSU professors.
Support our Presidential Pledge.
The Presidential Pledge: Excellence and Access is a renewed partnership between South Dakota State University and the SDSU Foundation designed to ensure students’ access to education—and ultimately their dreams—regardless of their circumstances.
Private funding is needed to sustain and build three distinct scholarship programs, each serving a specific audience:
The Distinguished Scholar
A renewable award for students with an ACT of 30 or higher
The Jackrabbit Guarantee
A renewable award for students with an ACT of at least 24
The Jackrabbit Access
An award for promising students with high financial need
