Allie Schmitt is the Digital Engagement Officer for the SDSU Foundation. A native of Sioux Falls, SD, Allie earned her bachelor’s degree in history with a teaching specialization from South Dakota State University in 2019 and is currently pursuing her master’s degree in communications and media studies, also at the university. Prior to joining the Foundation, she worked for the Helpline Center and was a Graduate Assistant with the Foundation. Allie and her husband, Brennen (SDSU alumnus), were both selected for the Distinguished Scholars Program at SDSU and currently reside in Brookings.
