Rachel is a Development Director for the SDSU Foundation, joining the team in June 2024. She brings a diverse background to her role, blending extensive experience in sales and customer relationship management with a previous career as a registered dietitian. Rachel holds a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics from North Dakota State University and a Master of Science in Dietetics from South Dakota State University. She loves cooking, exploring the outdoors, and staying active in the community. Rachel is committed to instilling an agricultural mindset in her kids and advocating for her hometown of Brookings. Passionate about the interconnected success of SDSU and South Dakota, she enjoys driving grassroots growth through her work at the Foundation. Rachel and her husband, Dave, along with their three children, love spending time at Dakota Nature Park.
